I personally appreciate the visual aspect of art over the conceptual meaning behind it; these paintings are heavily focused on conceptual ideas:

• ​IKB 79: "the color has a quality close to pure space and [is] associated with immaterial values beyond what can be seen or touched".

I think that this offends the meaning of art, and has a frustrating effect.

It also gives art a bad reputation, because it delves into the concept that "anything can be art", which is a major stereotype. 

There is no emotional connection between the viewer and the artwork.
