Here is a series of images that represent the theme that I am aiming for in my artwork. These images inspired how I created and colored my artwork. I used dark and gloomy colors in my final piece, as the images mostly represent dark and deep colors. This helps to express the concept of sadness and depression in my artwork as I am representing a dark area of the world.

What Worked Well? (WWW)

In my perspective drawing, I feel that there were some aspects that I could improve on, but there was also some things that I felt worked well. For example, I think that the use of color worked well. I aimed to use gloomy and dark colors to represent that sad environment of the area that I portrayed. This set the correct mood of my artwork, and can instantly be recognized by a viewer.

Even Better If? (EBI)

I feel that although the use of color was a good aspect, it would have been better if I represented those colors, but darker and deeper. I feel that there was not a balance of dark and light colors, but more light colors than dark. I feel that this slightly gave an unfinished touch. Although, I know that I can improve on this next time.
